The chefs carefully prepare special dishes for you with traditional flavours and a bit of world cuisine while using high-quality ingredients that come from small family farms of the Ogulin area. We use the HACCAP food safety system from procurement to preparation of food.

In your gastronomic journey through à la carte, seasonal and board menus you can find dishes made of famous Ogulin cabbage and potato, veal and lamb under the baking lid, game dishes, aged steak, porcini mushroom dishes, locally grown trout and other fish dishes, various homemade soup, salads and side dishes.

Homemade cold cuts and cheeses, the most famous of which is škripavac cheese, venison sausage, and venison prosciutto enrich our food choice. Our desserts such as crispy homemade strudels and various cakes will make your gourmet experience perfect. Homemade bread that we prepare every day according to the Lika recipe will complete your “Ogulin on a plate” experience.

Sweet and savoury pancakes

We are widely known for our 30 types of savoury and sweet pancakes that are most popular among hikers and children.  When in Ogulin, it is hard to resist the pancakes in Frankopan. 

From classic flavours to various fillings you can eat the pancakes any time of the day. They are the perfect snack or a sumptuous dessert. Sweet, salty, stuffed, baked, classic, or imaginative - pick your flavour that will make you come back. The takeaway is also available.


Cold cuts

Almost no gastronomic event and celebration goes by without cold cuts. Homemade sausages, kulen sausage, prosciutto, homemade cheese, deer prosciutto, venison sausages, homemade venison pate, homemade bread, savoury cakes, homemade buns stuffed with bacon and onion or Ogulin masnica roll are delicious overtures to the flavours of the absolute pleasure at your table. We serve them in à la carte offer, a personalised menu for your private celebrations and events, hotel, and catering events.


Game dishes

Due to their naturalness and special taste, game dishes are a blend of tradition and classic festive delicacy that we serve throughout the year, particularly for your special occasions.

The game stew is one of the hotel’s favourite dishes and we recommend it with homemade gnocchi or polenta. The stew is prepared with venison, boar and roe deer meat.  Pripremamo ga u kombinaciji mesa od jelena, vepra i srne. 

If you prefer roasted venison, you will love the venison medallions with cherries from our menu.
